| Abstract: | This study explored some of the advantages and disadvantages of an ‘international school’ education in terms
of generating key skills for a career as an international business (IB) manager. Building on extant literatures in
education and IB, as well as some exploratory interviews, we generate several propositions positing the effects of
an international school education on an IB career. Though much of the discourse focuses on the positive aspects in
this regard, this study also discusses a number of potential disadvantages. |
